I had a very curious beer, Harar, at Messob in Little Ethiopia. It had the appearance of a wheat beer (somewhat cloudy and orange), but was a tad bitter, and I thought the flavor was reminiscent of when you add Sake to Sapporo (I would say vinegary - but that makes it sound like it would be gross). It was quite tasty and complimented the spices in the food very well.
